May 1, 2020 marks the 125th birthday anniversary of the great American composer Leo Sowerby (1895–1968) who based most of his life and career in Chicago. We celebrate with a playlist of his music along with works by three of his most prominent students: Ned Rorem, William Ferris, and Florence Price.
