Join Us for Soirée Cedille — A Night of Music, Community, and Celebration

Soirée Cedille is more than an event — it’s a celebration of Chicago’s world-class classical music community. On Sunday, September 28, we invite you to gather at Venue SIX10 (610 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago) for an unforgettable evening bringing together the artists, audiences, and patrons who make Cedille Records’ work possible. Your presence supports our mission to record and share the artistry of Chicago’s finest classical musicians with the world.

The evening begins at 5:00 pm with a concert showcasing Cedille 2025 Emerging Artist Competition winner, oboist Oliver Talukder, performing with pianist Moriah Trenk, and Grammy-winning baritone Will Liverman — an alumnus of the Ryan Opera Center at Lyric Opera of Chicago and a Cedille Records Board member — joined by pianist, and fellow Cedille artist, Kuang-Hao Huang. In between, we will present the Martin D. Ginsburg Award to Helen Zell, honoring her extraordinary vision and generosity, which has made both iterations of Cedille’s Emerging Artist Competition (2021 and 2025) a reality. In addition, we will proudly present the Musical Partnership Award to the Ravinia Festival, recognizing its remarkable commitment to community building, music education, and sharing the arts with Chicagoans of all ages.

Following the concert, guests will enjoy elegant dining, lively conversation, and the joy of connecting with fellow music lovers and artists.

By attending Soirée Cedille, you’ll not only experience an extraordinary night of music and celebration, you’ll help ensure that Chicago’s most talented classical musicians have the opportunity to share their artistry with audiences everywhere and grow their careers. We hope you’ll join us in raising a glass to music, community, and the power of recordings to change artists’ lives.

Reserve your place today and be part of the celebration.
