February 2024 Spotlight: Love Songs by Black Composers (and/or sung by Black performers)

February is Black History Month and the month of Valentine’s Day. We recognize both with a playlist of pieces about or expressing love, written by Black composers and/or sung by Black performers, including numerous selections from Joseph Bologne’s late-18th century romcom, L’Amant Anonyme.
