Artist Debuts on Cedille
In celebration of the live rounds of Cedille’s inaugural Emerging Artist Competition this month — the winner will get their debut recording produced by Cedille — we feature (in order of release) tracks from the first albums by some of the 80 artists and ensembles who previously debuted on Cedille.

In honor of this month’s world premiere recording of “L’Amant Anonyme,” a 1780 opera by Afro-French composer Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, an exploration of music by less-known Classical period composers, including many women.
