Our commitment to your health and well-being at Soirée Cedille

To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, Cedille Records will join the growing number of arts organizations in Chicago that will require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test for entrance to the event. Feel welcome to call 773.989.2515 or email info@cedillerecords.org with questions.

Cedille Records is committed to the health and safety of everyone in attendance at Soirée Cedille. Cedille Records will work with Venue SIX10 to ensure that the recommendations of the CDC, City of Chicago, and Illinois Department of Public Health are followed. As of June 11, 2021, Chicago has entered Phase 5 of its COVID-19 reopening plan. In Phase 5, most mandatory COVID-19 regulations have been lifted, including capacity limits, social distancing requirements, and mask mandates at most businesses.

We recognize that individuals’ health situations and comfort level with in-person events can vary as we plan for a fundraising event that will be enjoyable, comfortable, and safe for everyone.

Cedille Records has adjusted the format of Soirée Cedille to increase comfort and safety. This year’s event will not include a cocktail reception prior to the concert, nor will it include a silent auction. Cedille Records and Venue SIX10 will work together to ensure that the flow of people throughout the event is conducted with appropriate social distancing.

Cedille Records staff and guests, Venue SIX10 staff, and all vendors will be expected to follow these protocols:

  • Everyone will be screened by a no-touch temperature check when entering the building.
  • Everyone must wear a mask in the building’s public spaces, which include the vestibule, lobby, elevators, and restrooms.
    • Fully vaccinated guests (guests who received their last dose of vaccine prior to August 29) are not required to wear masks during the concert or at the dinner.
    • Unvaccinated guests must wear masks at all times, unless actively eating or drinking.

Prior to the event, all Cedille guests must indicate whether they are vaccinated. This information will be used to assist in the planning of the event (or, if necessary, to notify guests of a positive COVID-19 outcome). Proof of vaccination will not be required for entry.

Should additional public health regulations be added, revised, or reinstated, Cedille Records and Venue SIX10 will comply with the new regulations. In such case, the policies and considerations listed above may be amended. Cedille Records will communicate these changes with guests and supporters as clearly as possible. The Soirée Cedille concert will be available for streaming online. Cedille Records will accommodate guest preferences to switch from an in-person ticket to a virtual registration or vice versa.

Cedille Records is only able to support Chicago’s finest classical performers and composers because of the generosity of our donors. Your safety is our top priority! We look forward to seeing you on September 12!
