- NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER ONLY (SHIPS SEPTEMBER 2008) Beethoven & Clement Violin Concertos —Violinist Rachel Barton Pine, with Maestro José Serebrier and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, presents the world premiere recording of the exquisite 1805 Violin Concerto in D Major by Franz Clement, the violinist-composer for whom Beethoven wrote his great Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 61 in 1806, which is coupled with the Clement on this 2CD-set priced as one CD.
- NEW RELEASE Symphony in Waves — Carlos Kalmar and the Grant Park Orchestra perform the first full-scale orchestral recording of composer Aaron J. Kernis’s Symphony in Waves (1989). The disc also contains world premiere recordings of Newly Drawn Sky (2005), and Too Hot Toccata (1996).
